What do we make?

We manufacture custom sheet metal electronic enclosures, mounting hardware, and miscellaneous components. We start from your design, and build them in 2-3 days, with no minimum order requirements. Products are built from your choice of aluminum, steel, stainless, or galvanized, and are fully finished, including fasteners, hardware, welding, powdercoating, and silkscreen.

Submit your CAD design by email or via our convenient web form, and you will receive a quote typically on the same day (24 hours maximum), and we’ll build it for you in 2-3 days. If you are too busy, or don't have the CAD software, take advantage of our hourly enclosure CAD design services. We start from rough sketch, description, components.

  • Contact an account manager to get started
  • You provide a rough description, or boards and components
  • We'll design what you want and provide you with full CAD drawings
  • Once you've signed off, we'll manufacture it in 2-3 days

Our free CAD template generator will create a blank enclosure design for you, so all you have to do is add your cutouts fasteners, accessories.

  • sign in, choose a style and dimensions
  • your enclosure will instantly be designed, and emailed to you
  • you then add cutouts, fasteners, and miscellaneous items
  • CAD formats: .dwg, .dxf, .asm, .sat, .stp, .sldasm, .x_t
  • Hint: if you don't have CAD, choose .edrw (e-drawing format) for drawings that can be viewed in your web browser. Then print out the drawings and draw in your cutouts and fasteners by hand

Learn about our Ultra-Lean Manufacturing Process

Protocase believes that our customers shouldn’t have to wait weeks for professional quality custom enclosures and components, so we developed our unique ultra-lean manufacturing process that consistently delivers many times faster than conventional manufacturers. We’ve done this by eliminating the waiting between manufacturing stages, and by committing to having excess capacity on hand as we grow. In this way, we deliver consistent 2-3 day turnaround, subject to certain restrictions.
Our Lead Times
  • 2-3 Days from drawing approval
  • Add 1 day for silkscreen (to allow for curing of ink)
  • Multicolor silkscreens may require extra time
  • Larger jobs will require extra lead time.
