Finish: Engineers apply a finish to copper bus bars to improve performance and durability. Applying a finish can prevent copper from turning into patina, a thin green layer on the surface. Finishing options include Resicoat, Plating (Tin & Nickel)*, Media Blasting, Powdercoat.
Fasteners: We generally recommend stainless steel PEMS for use in copper parts and bus bars. Copper may be tapped, but the user should be cautious when torqueing fasteners due to copper's softness.
